"The Living Room"

“The Living Room” at Northwest Essex Community Healthcare Network:

“The Living Room” is our in-person service for mental health and substance use crises. It’s a place for those seeking help for crises, or to prevent potential crises that aren’t treated in an Emergency Room. The model is similar to Urgent Care for medical concerns, but is instead focused on mental health and substance use problems.

“The Living Room” Features:

– A warm, comfortable, and safe environment

– No appointment required

– Timely access to counseling

– Referrals to case management and medication management services

– During difficult times, clients may stop by the Living Room to prevent problems from getting worse and begin the path to recovery/wellness
