Co-Occurring Services
After the comprehensive assessment process is completed, a recovery treatment plan is developed based on the consumer’s or family’s personal goals in order to meet their specific needs.
Services are available for all behavioral health (ages 6+), substance use, and co-occurring concerns (ages 18+).
1. The term co-occurring disorder (COD) refers to the condition of having at least one mental disorder and at least one substance use disorder.
2. Substance use disorders and mental disorders are treated concurrently.
3. Essential services for consumers with CODs are trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and recovery oriented.
Treatment includes primary care screening and management by doctors and nurses, wellness coaching, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and individual and family therapy.
In order to provide the highest quality of services with no out-of-pocket expenses, it is essential that consumers frequently speak with case managers, counselors, and nurses during their treatment. Staff members are required to provide periodic questionnaires to consumers asking about their overall wellbeing and to evaluate services provided by the agency.
